Harbor High School - New Pool Improvements
The soil challenges encountered at Harbor High School have proven to be quite complex and demanding. While the swimming pool has been successfully relocated to a location far removed from areas with problematic soil conditions, there still remain some smaller sections of the site that require soil modification to ensure stability and longevity. To address these issues associated with the weak soil, Raito implemented an innovative approach known as the Shallow Soil Mixing method. This technique involves blending the existing soil with a binding agent to enhance its structural properties, thereby improving its load-bearing capacity and overall performance. By utilizing this method, we aim to create a more stable foundation for future developments at the school.
