Yuba River Basin, California Ring Levee
The purpose of the project is to enhance the watershed of Lower Spring. As part of a collaborative effort to reduce flood risk in Yuba County, Yuba Water is working in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Central Valley Flood Protection Board, and the Marysville Levee District to strengthen the 7.5-mile-long Marysville Ring Levee. This critical project is expected to be completed by 2024, leading to a future with decreased flood risk for the historic City of Marysville.
